Yeah, I now get Netflix and HBO Max (with ads of course) on my Verizon bill for $10, whereas the same Netflix plan by itself was costing us ~$19! Don't know how, don't care how - happy to save the $$.
Yeah but my monthly Mint Mobile bill is $35 and your monthly Verizon bill is...?

No streaming apps except youtube premium. I just buy from itunes for shows or movies which is not many but got a pretty decent library built up.

I have been with Verizon continuously since 1988. They had the best coverage then and still do in remoter areas. We have three iPhones, three iPads and two watches on the plan plus international calling. It is not the cheapest but it works for us.

AT&T had land lines almost as expensive for just a telephone that did not work most of the time, thus we cancelled them years ago and never looked back.

They think we are lobsters where you slowly raise the temperature of the water to boil them. Raising the rates $1-2 every 6 months or so. Soon the bundles are no longer worth it and I will just rotate which ones I have.

Subscription world will come to an end. Everyone will get frustrated by the prices, changes in licensing.

This is madness
Soon only the rich will be able to afford it. I stopped going to the theater to see a movie, I just wait for streaming and pay a lot less.

Can't blame tariffs for this one...

I used to like to have a few services available at once when they were affordable, now I've cancelled all but one which means I don't get exposed to what they're showing, don't get hooked on the series, and then don't feel a need to renew so I can keep watching.

See, this is why I like buying subscriptions thru apples in-app purchase feature. Took me 7 seconds to cancel my subscription.

Don’t let hbo know. They may stop offering subs thru in-app purchases to make it more challenging for consumers.
