I'm a 60 year old bass player (played in loud rock bands when I was younger) . I can just barely hear 16khz. 15khz with no problem. All things considered, I'm not doing too bad 🙂

Almost 60 years old and all I could hear was 12kHz.

I had to turn up the Brilliance on my tweeters all the way, but the best I could do is 10kHz. I 'think' I could hear 12kHz, but that was probably wishful. 😉

The first time I tried this test last year I used the Tape Input on my amp, and I figured it was clipping the sound off. I forgot all about the Brilliance, which was right down.

I guess I was wrong, as it is now on CD Input, Brilliance cranked. 🙁

I'm 72 3/4 years old.

Volume fully up and using my desk speakers I could just get 15 kHz. I did burst an eardrum a while back though.

KGB😎

Um, i'm just hoping that my speakers are bad or something because I can't hear past 15 and i'm younger than 20. 🙁

I'm 20, and I could hear 17 kHz with mid-volume and 18 kHz with the volume completely up (on my MBP speakers). Using my desktop speakers at a high volume I think I can hear 19 kHz but it is very faint.
