i left my macbook running while i was installing windows had an error and had to leave in a hurry didn't know it was not in sleep and it was left on in a incase for around 20 minutes, will the safe shutoff kick even if its not booted up. it should be fine right? it felt very hot to the touch but was only around 77c on boot up.

Probably won't be affected, but you should run xBench or diagnostics just to be sure.

i ran exbench im not sure exactly what score i should be looking for.

xBench tests are useful if you have a previous score to compare it to. If both scores are almost equal, then your components are fine. However, if there is drastic difference, then yes something is wrong now.

Sorry forgot to mention this earlier.

ya is didnt i actually got a better one with geek bench so i think its fine it just worried me .

i think it helped, i just don't quite understand the results hdd seems a little slow..
