Help. I'm trying to install Panther

I did the same to Jaguar with 32MB.

How was that? With Leopard I didn't realize there was even an OS on the drive when I put it in, I think I was just testing a G4 I picked up with a random drive I had lying around. It looked like it was hanging, but I ended up getting distracted, it eventually booted to the desktop about 30 minutes later lol

Took five minutes or so to boot with constant hard drive thrashing. I don’t remember much more but everything was painfully slow.

That's not too far off from my experiences with Windows 9.x - and that was on a machine with a good spec.

Windows 9x irritates me. I used it growing up, unfortunately. Classic Mac OS definitely has its issues, but if I had to pick between using Windows 98 for the rest of my life or Mac OS 8, I'm 100% going with Mac OS 8. At least it's stable in general as long as whatever application is running stays stable. I look at Windows 98 wrong and I get random DOS errors every time I start it up.
