QUESTION: IF I reinstall my Office program, will I lose my current documents?

No. Installing or reinstalling software doesn't affect user-created documents.

I could never recover the bar, but I was able to build a new one under the customize. Thanks for everyone's efforts!

Changing the display did not work, But now I know how to change it.

1. Darn! I hoped that would do it. I had the same issue with the top of Word Help and Excel Help disappearing under the Menu Bar. That trick worked for me.

2. No, your files will remain in the folders they reside in now.

Edit: Oops! I didn't see that there was a page 2 (for me anyway) - replied to the last post on page 1, as it turns out.
