Help me to fix the oxidized PMG5 case

It's not the removable side of the case in the picture

At least my case is still useable, a ebay seller managed to break the rear leg of the case:http://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Parts-A...9420945?pt=Apple_Desktops&hash=item5af2bb5911

I was shopping for G5 powermacs for weeks and I saw this every time I looked. I wish someone bought it or took the listing down so I didn't have to look at it!

I like how they list the "value at $608"...in what world? I bought a used PowerMac G5 2.0DP that actually looks good and works perfect with OS X Server 10.5 for $51 - on Ebay.

Certainly not worth that much! I ended up with a early 2005 dual 2GHz G5 for $50 from some recycler in Janesville, Wi (he had some other listings that went for $10.50 and $40 for shipping), however the graphics card likes to spaz out so my $30 replacement will show up tomorrow.

From my experience, a clean and well kept case without the internals is worth more than a functioning G5 with even moderate damage to the case.
