This thread is so weird. You were apprehensive to tell us the reason you want it replaced, then you try to guilt trip everyone by saying crap like "you don't know what I went through to get this phone" LOL?

Makes you sound like You were forced into partaking in organised crime or something.
 
hehehe, I didn't mean to blame or justify anything at all, I just needed some advice from people that it is in the matter, I'm calm now, as I said, I'll stick with it, I appreciate your time and thoughts, you helped me to get into an answer.

Thanks to everyone, just clarifying I'll just keep it.
 
To the OP... Let me get this straight: you’ve dropped your expensive plaything and even though it appears to be working fine you nevertheless think you’re entitled to a replacement. So you come onto an internet forum to ask other members to suggest lies that may be more convincing than those you’ve thought up yourself, to help you to get what you want...

You live, I assume, in the wealthy, decadent west, where, despite having a disproportionate share of the world’s riches, people still feel they’re entitled to more. And we wonder why the rest of the world hates us...

In reference to, "it's so easy to get a phone from those geniuses". I was just saying they're doing what they were told to do. They all smile but they most likely couldn't careless what you're saying. In their minds, Its probably, shut up and just take the new phone and get out. Doesn't mean they don't know you're lying.

I came here to figure out what to do mostly, I'm not doing it, I get the pro / con, points, I know it would've been selfish, not ignorant but abusive, and exaggerated, but I love the psychic thing on describing me hehe.

Thanks to all those once again for your replys, for the third time, I won't do it, I'll keep my damaged phone that works fine, I loved the joke of the gf, anyways, feel free to keep replying its interesting, thank you all :)

If you are in the U.S. you may want to consider purchasing AppleCare+ as you still have until the 14th to purchase it. If you have that coverage then you can get a replacement phone two times any time it is damaged for $50.
 
Time to get a case for it.

That's what I usually do when I first drop a phone (assuming the first drop didn't break it). After that I typically never drop it again, go figure.

You're publically asking how to commit fraud. Of course people are going to be hard on you. You dropped your phone. I have an idea. Don't lie. Be honest. You'll feel better about yourself and you'll be a better person. Lying to get a new phone is fraud. There is no excuse that is worth it. Just man up and be honest.
