    ok, so this has been the second time the macintosh has broken down. My dad bought it for 1800 3 years ago at best buy, and it has already broken down twice. One day i was just playing csgo. But i always close the lid and not turn it off. the next day the mac would refuse to turn on again. after some days for trying it for some reason turned on again, although the startup was delayed. again, i didnt properly shut it off and closed the lid, it refused to turn on for a whole week. I then realized that if i went to the menu and shut it off, it would start up the next time i tried to power it on again, but if i closed the lid, it would not turn on for a while. It has now been 3 weeks since someone last closed the lid due to some circumstances, as it wont turn on and ive tried what the internet said to do what with removing the battery and all that bs on ytube, none of it worked. Please give me some diagnostics as my dad gave it to bisconti computers and they said it was 400$ to fix, as something was wrong with something i forgot. when the mac did start up, it ran like it was new. please please help me wtf is going on PLEASPLEASPLEAS I WANNNA PLAY CSGO AGAIN IM DYING HERE

    Try turning off safe sleep. Open terminal and copy and paste the following line into the terminal window and hit return:

    sudo pmset -a hibernate mode 0

    You will be asked for your admin password. Enter it and hit return.

    Then click on the desktop to make sure you are in Finder. Pull down the GO menu to Go To Folder and copy and paste the following line in and hit return:

    /var/vm/

    Delete the file "sleep image"

    It would be good to know if there is a hardware problem, as the slow boot indicates. Please follow the instructions here to perform a hardware diagnostic test: https://support.apple.com/HT202731. Read the first part carefully and click on the first link in there if you have an older model than 2013. Please tell us if anything comes up.
