Car cover?

Or monthly hand waxing and an occasional washing? A couple years ago I got my father one of those unlimited car wash memberships for Father's Day. (Then he bought a new car and the a***** at the carwash wouldn't transfer it to his new car)

I'm lucky enough to have a parking garage at home. At work however I can either park in the middle of a lot and have the sun beat down on my car or park along the tree line and end up with bird crap on my car.

just put a tarp/cover over your car if your HOA will allow that.

Only if you buy it from the official HOA online store, and you're OK with being fined anytime the usage doesn't meet their specific criteria.

"Sorry, one corner was lower than the others, I'm afraid that's $250 ..."

:D

Yeah they can be ridiculous sometimes haha!

I'm mostly like the OP. Overall I think they provide value. They really only get bad in cases where there is little community involvement and the board just starts doing whatever it wants, or worse, the board hires a property management company to run things and fails to provide oversight. It's incredible how some HOAs seem to forget who works for who and allow the prop mgmt co to call all the shots.

But yeah, overall, I'll deal with the occasional letter about weeds in my flower beds if it means I never have to see gigantic statues in front of my neighbors newly painted flamingo-pink house :D

I really don't want to wash my car daily or place and remove a bird dropping encrusted cover several times a day. ;) As is, I've been parking on the other side of the driveway behind my wife's car and that seems to resolve the issue, with the inconvenience of juggling cars, until the fruit has all dropped for this year.

Surprised you haven't gotten a love letter from the HOA about an "unbalanced driveway parking layout"...

Yes, that deserves a :D

Just get your wife to park under the tree....
Problem solved!
(Unless like me you have to wash both cars in the house!).

Wait a second, have you seen my home?

:D
I think your place looks tasteful!
