[HELP] Trying to create an "Open App" Shortcut with App Icons using vCard

Hi there, I'm trying to create a Shortcut to give me a list of my wallet/banking apps to choose from, and while this is easy and I already created one, I wanted to make it even better by adding the icon of each app to the items in the menu.

I found that one way to do this is using the vCard method, and I found a couple shortcuts in routinehub, such as this ones: https://routinehub.co/shortcut/9083/ / https://routinehub.co/shortcut/2659/

While I was able to create a vcard menu with the icons and the names of the apps I need, I have no idea how to actually make each item open the app I want. This is what I have so far...

Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

Not sure how that vcf method works (did not dig into details), but if the menu item is same as app name, pretty easy to launch the app.

(My list is replaced by list your Shortcut creates via vcf code)

The idea is to have a menu that displays the icon of each app, simple lists or the "choose from menu" action, can't display icons.

I don't see how to use your example with mine.

ADD: if my assumption is wrong, can add a dictionary object to the Shortcut to map the List item name to the corresponding app name.

Here's the example shortcut that only shows the List menu with icons, can you maybe add to it, so I can understand what you mean?

You can use any app the we both probably have, like Phone or Messages, to only one item, maybe the first one from my list?

Looks like can just do an Open App action with the return from Choose action using the name value.

(Ignore the Alert as I put that in as a debug statement)

Just need to add the magic variable to the call, tap on it, scroll down to Name and tap it.

I don't have any of those apps other than Wallet, but was able to launch Wallet.
