The 933 really is hard to find, isn't it. I see one for $19, but seller's feedback is only 98.4% positive. The "make offer" option is enabled. Might be risky, though? I'd at least check the details of recent feedback history. Maybe just typical high volume mistakes that are eventually made good?

The 867MHz module would be another option. Be careful when looking for that one, though. The QS had a single CPU 867 module and the MDD had a dual 867 module (QS and MDD modules are not interchangeable). Ebay sellers sometimes confuse Quicksilvers and MDDs. Look at the pictures.

The other OEM options would be the dual 800MHz and the dual 1GHz, but those are likely to be even more rare and more expensive. Also, the dual 1GHz is another one that sellers sometimes confuse with MDD modules.

Yeah! Its pretty sad! I'm probably going to get an 867.

Thanks for that link! Im probably going to get that, just because its a few dollars more for a 933 MHz anyhow. It has a warranty, but I am not too worried about that. If it does not work and they just refund me, I found a 867 for the same price.

I ordered the 933, but I hope they put the heatsink on along with the new thermal paste. If not, ill put some toothpaste on it.

Toothpaste is not a good therm conductor. It could cause more damage to the CPU than good if applied.

Ik. It was a joke (even though my server uses toothpaste :p. Its a PC anyway) I can walk to my local Worst Buy.

Crud skittles. Got the CPU, applied the thermal paste hopefully good, and then the dang thing would not boot. Ugh, ugh ugh. I noticed one of the tiny boxes on the motherboard is missing, so it might be a new board if i can't find it and solder it back on. I don't think any power is getting to the CPU! And I think it is due to the box gone! Here is where the 'box' should be:
