Help with MacBook Pro purchase

The 2017 MBP keyboard has new symbols on the CTRL and OPT keys.

So does this mean the keyboard issue has been fixed with the 2017?

from my research there is a difference between the two, in feel, and in the mechanism in the keys has changed.....but i'm unsure as to what the difference between the symbols is.....i'll have to look more into that

well I received my MacBook Pro yesterday and I must say it's flawless. The keyboard does take some getting used too but I'm in love with it so far and probably will be for years to come. thanks everyone for the help!
