Hi all,
So I got a Samsung display when it was on sale, it's the G80 4k OLED. I'm annoyed that it doesn't have usbC for charging, but I can get past that. The problem is that the video looks pretty bad on it. Lots of color fringing, and what looks like compression artifacts around text. I've tried messing with the settings, turning sharpness down to zero which seems to help a bit, but does anyone have any advice in how to improve the picture? I'm connected right now via HDMI, so maybe a usbC to DisplayPort connection would be better? I'm using it with my M1Max MacBook Pro.
