Correct. Hence I posted this may not be the norm (probably for many people)
That is not how your reply came across. It is also tangential to the original comment. Clearly, the user is under the impression that there is an issue with battery usage relating to the version of iOS, not the model.

iOS 18 is a battery hog on iPad mini 7, it’s all trash. Even my iPad mini 1 gen gets better stand by time up to a month+
I don’t have that issue, 18.1 -> 18.4 -> 18.4.1 -> 18.5. It runs smoothly, the battery is also pretty good. Battery usage during sleep is very small (the chart is remain flat during sleep)

There are battery threads all over Macrumors. For whatever reason, some people suffer poor performance on models where others claim excellent performance for the same version of iOS.

... while you just tried to slap down the comment.

There is no desperation on my part. All you did was confirm my original assertion. Thank you.
Looks, there might be some kind of language barrier at play here so let me drop the snark and explain why you come across like that

In my first post I was just mentioning how there’s only one feature I enddd up using, my point pretty much being “iOS 18 has so little going on without iPhone mirroring that I might have skipped it entirely” and your immediate response was to claim Genmoji wasn’t a groundbreaking feature, which in turn implies I was claiming it was

Then when I specified I never said it was you acted like I just had conceded you were right

Also your thank you’s sound very passive aggressive - like you’re saying thank you but you’re actually annoyed like “Finally! Thank you 🙄”

Like, if your intention was to just build on something I was saying you should’ve phrased it something along the lines of “yeah there definitely weren’t any ground breaking features”, if you just respond to someone with “well that’s not a ground breaking feature!” you sound like you’re trying to argue with them even if you technically just stated a fact

Hopefully this is not going to come across as condescending - I’m only saying all this because it’s coming across like you genuinely don’t understand why you sound argumentative

I was clear in my comments. I am not the one with a problem.
