No black 17 pro is painful…. And it’s the same weight as my current beautiful space black 14pro??!! I thought the aluminum would make it lighter. Might be hanging on another year with my 14 pro.
Bigger battery and that “plateau” definitely contributing. But you’re also comparing against a bigger screen and overall sims since with 16 Pro series onward it’s now a 6.3” screen, so iPhone is wider and taller. So should feel less “dense.”

In fact, 14 Pro and 17 Pro are same weight despite large 17 Pro:

14 Pro: 206g
15 Pro: 187g
17 Pro: 206g

I might just stick with my 13 Pro Max, or maybe I’ll trade it in for a 16 Pro Max. I don’t like the look of the Air and the 17 Pro Max doesn’t come in black. I would have bought the 17 Plus if offered this year, though.

I was very tempted to "upgrade" from my 14 pro max to the 17 pro max this year. But I saw the Air and that it's titanium and went to go look at it, and found out on apple's page that it only has 27 hours of video playback, down from the 29 I have now, and it is losing the speakers at the bottom of the phone. Now I don't know what I want, good thing I have a couple of days to research and decide.
