This all seems very plausible. I looked at the AR Apple logo, which caused my iPhone to get hot in my hand ... but that does mean I have to heat up. I would definitely buy a polishing cloth, tho.

15” M2 MBA with TouchBar, M1 Pro/Max Mac mini, and the external monitor to go with the new mini. And a peek at the last computer to go ASi, the Mac Pro.

The word "Peek" in the catchphrase for the event interests me. In the past Apple has given "peeks" at products that it is not going to release for a while. The most notable was the iPhone that was not released until 6 months after the reveal. Apple generally does this when the peeked product does not compete with any of their current products — but not always — and they may be able to freeze sales of competing products from other companies with the peek. The AR headset would fit these criteria and might be a the subject of the "Peek" in the catchphrase. One can only hope.

"What IF" Apple introduces 2022 iPhone SE 5G with ‌Touch ID‌ integrated into its power button like 4th gen iPad Air, increase the screen to edge-to-edge in the same frame ?

So what you’re saying is, we *should* expect the new Apple displays!

We'll probably just get a new iPhone SE, iPad Air and maybe a new Mac
*Apple releases new iPhone SE, new iPad Air, Mac Mini M1 Pro/Max, 27" iMac M1 Pro/Max, and an AR glasses sneak peek
Are you begging to get disappointed? ?

I think the peek is just a hint for the new generation of Apple Silicon which will be presented in form of the M2. This can be considered a peek into the future performance of Apple Silicon. The M2 will be specked in the 13” MBP and the Mac mini. Apart from that we’ll see a new Mac mini with at least the M1 Pro, a new iPhone SE and a new iPad Air. That’s it.

I would love to be wrong. ?

I hope for the M1 Pro/Max Mac mini to be available immediately after the event, and previews of the M1 Pro/Max 27" iMac & smaller dual (and possible quad) M1 Max Mac Pro...
If they could just release Macs and iPads as reliably as they release iPhones, I think we'd all be happy.

I have an M1 Mini and I love it for 90% of my work. In fact, I'd go for an M1 MacBook Air instead of 90% of my work.

Even when I use the Mini for rendering, I can still do other work just fine.

It's that last 10% where the extra cost of M1 Max would pay for itself in a month.

In fact, for the work I do, even the marginal cost of a quad M1 Max Mac Pro would pay for itself within 3 months.
A quad M1 Max Mac Pro would be awesome... but can it run Crysis?

It hurts to see that the larger iMac is a NOPE but I expected it and June doesn't seem so far away.

All I want is that it's better than "just" M1 Pro and M1 Max. Don't get me wrong, these chips are awesome, but for laptops. The media will (rightfully) compare this iMac with the latest Desktop PC chips and it will lose if it's not something like M1 Max Duo. M1 Max Quadro can be kept for the Mac Pro.

"Peek performance", it's either showing AirPods Pro 2 will play "lossless" OR they'll give us a peek through the AR/VR goggles. ?
The former example would not invoke the "peek" part of "Peek Performance", while the latter would not entail "performance", so neither of these would be an expected meaning. More likely, it will be a "peek" at upcoming products (such as Macs) with significant performance gains.

With the intensional misspelling of ‘peak’ to ‘peek’ in the title I’m hoping it might be a sneak peek at upcoming products like the VR and not just run of the mill product updates.

I am not expecting a striptease peek of Tim ?
Except that, it feels like it will be an interesting keynote ?

Funny how we're all hoping for different things. When they start talking about VR and AR I always feel like fast-forwarding through that bit, like we all did with the ads on an old VCR. I couldn't be less interested in VR and AR until they invent Holodecks.

I just want a purple Macbook Air ??My Late-2013 MBP is no longer charging and the display is showing its age. I need those sweet color options on new Airs to be real.
