The browser iCab recently added a two-window mode which splits the screen down the middle for a different web page on each half. Nicer than running Safari on one side and Chrome on the other.
Apple endorses USB-C on ***OSX DEVICES***, not on iOS devices. They want you to use cloud storage, i.e. icloud drive for file management on iOS. You are missing the point here for the iPad. It makes no sense for them to use USB-C on an iPad. They like the control that even the new USB 3 Lightning gives them. I think you and all the people dreaming for USB-C on iPad will be sadly disappointed for a long time.
For iPad, sure, but this is the iPad Pro. It has a much larger battery, works as a drawing tab for desktops, and will penetrate the work sphere deeper than any other iPad.
USB-C is way more than file management and data transfer. It's a faster way to charge and an audio/video port which would be much better with workflow for a more professional device as more devices adopt it.
Seriously, she wants one, my kids love it, they all are drawn to it at the apple store and while I'm not knocking myself. I don't see it as a replacement for my SP3, its still a great product on its own. There's really no justification, I'll be getting one because of the old adage. A happy wife is a happy life
