Here's When iOS 26 Rolls Out Today in Every Time Zone [Update: Out Now!]

I try to stay at least 1 year behind every iOS upgrade so for me it's time to finally update to iOS 18. 
I for one am excited to update my M3 Pro MacBook Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and M3 iPad Pro. Can't say I've ever had any massive update issues/showstopper bugs on day 1 which I guess makes me lucky based on some of the comments.
What I do find is that a few niggles start to creep in after a long period of upgrading iOS and MacOS, which often are still present after a major release upgrade; but then disappear when I do a wipe and clean install. So I've gotten into the habit of doing a clean install every few years on all my devices rather than upgrade and this is one of those years. Looking forward to starting fresh with virgin iOS, iPadOS and MacOS 26

Quick question: this was my first time entering iOS 26 beta testing. But I did download RC version (23A340) on September 9th… so does that mean I don’t need to download anything for today…???

MacRumors, please don’t forget Central & Eastern Europe + Baltics
I noticed that the iOS 26 release time chart completely skipped over Central & Eastern Europe and the Baltics — even though almost all of Western Europe and the Nordics were included.
That’s disappointing, because:
- iOS share in Poland has grown from ~3% to over 23% in just a few years (StatCounter). Millions of users here rely on Apple’s ecosystem.
- The Polish government is preparing to integrate Apple’s satellite SOS with national emergency services, showing that iPhones are increasingly treated as critical infrastructure (here’s a report in Polish). Meanwhile, the satellite SOS feature has already launched for Pixel phones in Poland — so Apple is expected to follow.
- This omission has already been noted, so it’s not just me noticing.
A simple mention like “Central & Eastern Europe (7:00 p.m. CEST)” and “Baltics (8:00 p.m. EEST)” would make MacRumors’ global audience feel properly included.

I have and will always prefer the simple flat non-skeuomorphic designs. Just like pixel art, they are timeless and never age badly.

It's no coincidence that the military consistently uses the 24-hour format. After all, no one wants to lose a machine just because "AM" sounded like "PM."
Anyone who has ever had to talk to someone on the phone while driving a car knows how often people ask for clarification when the time is not obvious from the circumstances.

About a week ago I decided to install the public beta to get a feel for iOS 26 and today I downgraded back to iOS 18 because imo iOS 26 is a mistake.
The design and feel is very non Apple, poor legibility and general feel doesn’t feel right.
iOS 18 feels faster, more mature, polished and shouldn’t drain my battery like iOS 26 did.

Just list times by timezone. The list you have is a mix of some times zones and mostly by nation state People know what time zone they’re in. Much simpler and more clear. Learn more here:

Ok. I’ve been running the RC 26 build 340 since it came out.
If you’ve been running it and you’re POO-POOing it, I don’t see why you have an issue with it.
I think it’s one of Apple’s best iOS updates in a long time. I haven’t encountered any bugs so far, and I like the new UI.
I’m far from a fanboy these days. Apple has a lot of misses lately. I don’t think this is one of them.
I’m pleased with 26 so far
