Here's When You Can Download iOS 14.5 [Update: It's Out Now]

Apple website no longer has the footnote on iOS 14.5 being released “beginning next week” in the airtags information page. It just states that 14.5 is a requirement. I’m definitely leaning towards a Monday release.
Come on MacRumours, how did you miss this opportunity to remind us of all the new 14.5 features?
the fact that this took so long to make makes me very wary of updating fist day...
Geez... this list just reinforces my desire to do away with time zones...just say 1700 GMT and be done with it.

Yeah, this is what I’m thinking, that apps have to be submitted by then for the 14.5 release, rather than 14.5 being released then.
You do realize there’s been many betas and a golden master precisely for this reason? The guinea pigs have already been utilized

I guess I’m being too harsh. The entire concept of time zones is quite new, 345+ years is clearly not enough time for people to learn the basic concepts of Timezones and offsets.
