Did anyone else notice that the AR version of the new phones showed a SIM tray on the Apple Store app? Such a tease, though it seems they fixed it now and removed it.
Still confused by this. Edit: this is UK spec.

Don't forget HST time!

We either have to stay up or wake up at 2AM to get our orders in…

And practically every other time zone is a realistic time…

Just paid off my 12PM, will sell it as soon as the new one arrives to fund the tax, case, and new set of AirPods Pro. I ended up reapplying for the iUP since I plan on swapping to the 15PM in 12 months. The 14PM in black is all set for tomorrow, should go well with new orange leather case I purchased. 👻🎃

In a typical year, is there typically enough stock to ship most or all orders made on pre-order day? I won’t be able to purchase until about 7 hours after pre-orders open.

Looking at the preorder options, I am currently T-Mobile and will be trains an iPhone in. My options are to add this new one to my T-Mobile account or get an unlocked phone to use on any carrier. If I choose the T-Mobile option can I later move to another network? Or should I choose unlocked no network when buying and set up later on T-Mobile ?

I wonder if the full price device on Apple.con shipping to a US address has the eSIM only or has a physical SIM tray as well.
Good question. Some services do not support eSim, so are people on those networks just SOL If they want a 14?

If you don't want something super specific, you might still be able to get something launch day then. New colors or lower capacities usually go first. Silver seems to be best every year for availability.

So how does this pre-order and 0% financing through Citizens Bank work? I did the pre-order and provided my info and it said I'm ready for pre-order and the 256GB Deep Purple iPhone 14 Pro Max is in my pre-order bag. Does this mean they've already done a hard hit on my credit and there is sufficient supply? What if the model I wan't is back ordered and I want to change the color or configuration to what is available? Citizens Bank has already put a hold my CC for $32.04, but I don't see a hit on my credit report yet.

The store opens at 1:00pm here in he UK and I will not be able to order for about 2 more hours.
I’m already expecting a Saturday collection for the 2 iPhone 14s that I have preordered.

T-Mobile in the US isn't showing iPhone 14. How long does it typically take them to catch up. My thinking is that ordering from them is a bit less friction. At least for my last phone, it arrived and it worked with very little effort. Of course did have to restore from backup. Their trade-in was competitive. We will be replacing a cracked screen X, so $0 trade-in, although it may be worth something.
I’ve noticed the same thing about T-Mobile/Sprint. Very odd. Worse, they’re still trying to push upgrades to iPhone 13s for way more money than Apple will charge to upgrade to 14s.

Disappointed that I wanted to trade in my current iPhone 13 Pro Max but the screen looks horrible and full of scratches. I never had a single scratch in any of many of my previous iPhone models but the 13 is very bad. Used the same way I used all other phones and it is clear to me that this glass is not as resistant as they say. Hope the 14 will be better.

I have upgraded my iPhone every other year for the last decade, but I will keep my iPhone 12 mini because of the better size.

I had iPhone X for two years, but it was too large. I don't want to go there again.

I had the XS Max. Too big. Went 11 Pro, 12 mini, and back to 13 Pro. Mini was my favorite size, but battery life was too much of a compromise. If you’re like me and try the Max once, you won’t be able to downsize again fast enough.
I love the size of the mini, but I can't go back to the smaller phones after getting a 6s Plus back in the day. The larger screen + massive battery life is so nice.
