Only the Qualcomm space gray finish scratches. The Intel space gray finish is is more durable but makes the phone heavier by about .00006g.
How do you tell if your X is Intel or Qualcomm? Thank you.

Just scratch the space gray coating in a small area that you won’t usually look at (typically a bottom corner on the back of the phone). If it scratches, it’s the one with the Qualcomm modem.

I went silver because it was the best looking color option. Also I had the Jet Black Plus and I had a few scratches. That took the paint off the device. I had to use a black magic marker to fill it the scratches. Before I return the iPhone in to my carrier for upgrade.

I am very happy with iphone x wireless charging to avoid inserting cable in darkness when I go to bed later than spouse!

Just a small tip about trying to insert the lightning cable into the charging port in the dark:

Turn on the flashlight on the iPhone, cup your hand behind the flashlight, which will reflect the light downward and you can see the lightning port to charge the phone without having to consistently miss the port in the dark.

The color is the most stunning and gorgeous color in the iPhone history. There is nothing to with the words you noted. Apple does indeed select the silver color as the flagship color of the iPhone X, the best iPhone in the history. Space gray is an old color, which is pretty similar to last year jet black color., which is no longer the flagship color.

Please tell me you're joking? And if you're not, how on earth do you know???

In the Singapore Apple Store

In spite of my earlier post, that is probably an inevitable result of coloring the stainless steel with a coating (PVD?). Careless use, by people trying to get them back down on a dock on a table, is going to scratch and chip that coating faster than a careful owner, but nearly all of us attach cables by the braille method at times, so it's probably foreseeable for most/many owners. Time will tell, obviously.

Just look at Apple billboard advertising iPhone X. Also look at iPhone X advertisement in your Apple Store app. In the website after clicking “buy” you can see the silver back is shown not the space gray one. :) Also look at Apple holiday ad. The girl in the add pulling the silver iPhone X from her sweat pocket.
Silver color is eye catching color. I am proud of showing my beautiful stunning gorgeous silver iPhone X by exposing it in my shirt pocket. The color never fails getting people attention. In comparison with space gray, which is a common cellular phone color. Nothing can pull out anyone attention if you put the phone in your shirt pocket as it is a common color.:)

I really hope you’re joking, but I honestly can’t tell.

I am not joking. Especially, in the mall, office building especially when riding escalators. I am covering my phone with clear otterbox symmetry which is exposing the silver color.

Im using Apple saddle brown leather case. It looks awesome on my New silver iPhone X.
