There was a rumor that the S10 would introduce a new band attachment using magnets, and that all our old bands would be obsolete. But it didn’t happen.
How did the mis-match of matte natural titanium with stainless steel links look to you? Since the regular and the U3 both are the same color and material I ordered the regular U3 Milanese. My S9 is almost 11mm (10.7 to be exact?), but U3 are 12mm thick. U1 was too thick for me. I wear it relatively high up my wrist so I need a shirt cuff to be able to go over the AW.Just thought I'd pop this here. Getting excited for my U3 Hermes on Friday!
Miss my U2 so much (I sent it off to Apple Trade in 3 weeks ago to maximize the trade in value). Using my S7 Hermes as my daily driver atm, with a bit of jet black alu S10 thrown in.
Really can't wait to get back to 2 days + battery life and interested to see how those lovely Hermes faces look on the bigger watch.

Style icon, Gianni Agnelli, wore his watch over his shirt cuffs. Perhaps it could work with the Ultra? Opinions?
Or roll up the sleeves on just your wrist arm. Would that asymmetrical look be a fashion faux pas?

When I had my U2, I didn't think trying my Hermes bands on it...until the day I sent it off lol to Apple. I put on my Orange Kilim and although the colours are out, it didn't bother me as much as I thought it would.
As my U3 will be a Hermes, I probably will try this again. I do have the Milanese Ultra Apple band, and to be honest it was on my U2 90% of the time. Love it! Think it will look even nicer with the Hermes faces.
I think the links not being flush with the U2 case would bother me more. All kinds of thoughts are running through my mind . . . 🤪

Yeah I see what you mean on my Ultra pic. It does mean though I now need to buy a couple of the new Scuba and another En Mer lol. I may have to hide that fact from the wife as this 'unnecessary' upgrade was 'sold' to her on the basis that I have all the bands I need 😅

Not as bad as I thought. This is 100% the best band I had for my U2. Going to be amazing on the Hermes U3
Going the other way much better IMO. How often do you wear the Ultra versus the AW? I have the S9. If U3 not too thick, I'll keep both. I just can't figure out which one to put cellular on. Another poster said to put cellular on both. At this moment that feels indulgent.
My 'portfolio' is/was S7 Hermes, S10 Jet Black Aluminum & U2 (now soon 3). I probably wear the Ultra for 3 days a week, the S10 for 2 and the S7 about 2. It really depends on what I am doing/the weather lol.
I think with the new U3 Hermes, it will be initially 5 days Ultra and maybe a day on the others. After the 'wow' has worn off, I think I'll wear the S7 less though as I miss the double tap when I wear it. Also, the battery is only about 14 hours now, so I have to put another watch on anyway and end up wearing that for multiple days.
My plan going forward is to get a S12 Hermes and retire the S7. Maybe.
The Cellular is on the S7 at the moment, but once the U3 comes, it will be on the Ultra.
The ultra is a grower. When I got it I thought it looked ridiculous. Then I loved it and the other 'normal' watches look tiny.
With me, I had the U2 first and then got the Hermes S10 later - cellular was moved to the S10 and I wear the U2 now only when I know I will be out for a while and not near power.
Anyone actually seeing 24 animation variations on the new Faubourg face over the span of a day? Feels like I'm seeing the same 6 or so, regardless of time. Don't get me wrong, the face is very fun. Quintessential Hermès whimsy and the matching band is really nice, but not sure that it's $450 USD nice, lol. And why no second hand on wake? Perhaps a bug? The new Exactograph face has a working second hand on wake...
Waiting till my Faubourg band arrives to add the watch face but will let you know.
Actually, now that I think of it, I thought the description said the scenes are by time of day. So maybe morning, afternoon, evening, night?
Maybe like 6 per time of day? Is it possible that you can’t get all of them at one time?
There are no new faces on the Hermes ultra 3. And nearly all the changes are just software upgrades. Apple saved me money this year.
I finally had time to do software update on my iPhone and AW, I DO get the seconds hand on my Hermes S7!
Just reporting back.
Is this for the Faubourg? I don't on my S7. Strangely I got it immediately when added, but on next wrist raise I didn't.
EDIT: Definitely a bug. I get it after a reboot/Hard reset, but not after the first wrist raise.
EDIT2: Removing the face and adding it has the same effect. It is on first wrist raise, but not after.

I was just about to type this too. Yes, I have the seconds hand on first add, then after a while it disappeared. I then tried to remove and add again, the same thing.
Not bothered. Not going to get online and pre-order a brand new watch just for this (also because I pre-ordered the orange 17 Pro).
I'm just happy I have this watch face. It's really cool, but I wish we get to choose which face it is on, rather than change after every wrist raise.
PS: It could be a bug. Maybe after they tweak it, we will get the seconds hand.

I am soooooooo tempted with the Orange Pro Max. Perfect compliment to the Hermes watch.

One other thing. When I was on the RC (not the official release), I am pretty sure the second hand was there all the time.
