Perhaps we can suggest some alternative activities appropriate for the occasion that don't involve underage drinking and will allow the participants to actually remember the evening. 
Horse and buggy rides through the city for the happy couples if available
A catered follow up party at a generous friend's house
Riverboat rides if available
C'mon, there has to be lots of fun things to do after a prom

Really, you should leave the partying to collage. I'm only 15, but I know it's not really smart to do that kind of thing after prom. Namely, every cop in town will be on patrol, so it'd be hard to get away with much...

Prom's coming up... May 30th. But I won't be getting trashed: Rather a nice night with my lovely girl.

It may be wastelanded because what you are talking about is basically breaking the law, and MacRumors doesn't allow that kind of thing.
I think if the Mods were to decide to wasteland this thread (and I don't know that they would), it would purely be because of the underage drinking issue involved.

doesnt matter how old you are at least your smart enough to be a bulldogs fan GO DAWGS lol
You don't know though. In the "middle of nowhere" where he lives, the drinking age could be lower than the US and it could be perfectly legal.
My prom was yesterday. I decided to go to work instead. 99% (Or at least all) of my friends got wasted and I got to see the lovely aftermath today. I'm a prude so despite all of the "you're such an idiot for not going to prom." I made out just fine at work and I don't regret not going.

Sorry, but I don't see the point of getting drunk, lowering your inhibitions, doing things with people you will later regret, and making poor choices.
We're about the same age, and I know alot people who have a blast without the above happening.

Let me ask you something: How many other countries have a "prom"?
He is definitely an American.My school's prom is on May 28th and it's a school that goes from K-12 in one building... Soo.. err.. I dunno how to put this. Well, for our prom, 7th to 12th graders are all invited.

I like what our school system does. We have an After PRom function at the school that lasts from 12Midnight till 0500. Once you're inside you can't leave and come back, if you leave, you;re done for the night. Its $5 (the prom cruise this year is $95/person). My son will go to that. And the thought of underaged drinking chills me, especially since I have to patch up the young fools when they come in unconcious to the emergency room!
