I'm not going to jailbreak and give up the security the that Apple has built into iOS. And if you want to talk about the recent App Store malware problem at least tell the whole story. The fact that stupid Chinese developers downloaded x code from non Apple secure servers because they didn't want to wait. If they followed Apple prescribed protocols they would not have introduced the malware. This clearly shows greater risk in bypassing the security Apple phones are famous for.
This in no way supports jailbreaking which at best is taking definite risks by bypassing built in safeguards to the bios. Because a condom breaks once in a while is not an argument to not use them. Not jumping off buildings with a parachute is boring, but you have not convinced me to do that either. And yes I definitely believe a jail broken phone is more at risk for malware. That much I do believe, and it's not a mistake.
That is completely up to you as is my choice to jailbreak but people talking bull**** by saying every jailbreak comes with malware doesn't help. Again one of the largest malware as of late came from the Apple App Store, it doesn't matter how it got there the fact is that it did get there.
