Since I've upgraded to 6s, I had a very few problems with Siri, mostly due to not saying it properly / clearly as @iTom17 mentions above. Even in a room with people or driving in a car with radio on, it seems to be working just fine! :)

My siri is also hit or miss. I noticed that if I do not touch or use my phone for some time, the odds of Siri not working are much higher than if I had played with the phone, which kind of defeats the purpose of it since I need to have my phone in my hand and wake it up before the Siri starts working

This a million times. "Hey, Siri!" apparently goes to sleep....

How strange it is but I used to use Siri a lot in the past and I loved it pretty much for everything alarm, texting by saying, currency converting etc...

I now don't use it at all there's something is going on either with my phone or something else because she is having a hard time hearing me and if she does she is not doing it correctly. I now have to shout, which I am sure I did not do about a year ago or so.

It is very frustrating, am I the only one ?

Phone is 6S

Sydney cbd - 70 megabit down and 40 up on cellular regularly so doubt it.
LOL. I like this comment. Very honest.

Hey Siri itself works, but Siri still needs a lot of work. For example if I'm asking for directions to a pizza place, and I'm in Phoenix, DONT try to navigate me to one in New York! Siriously

Do you have Location Services enabled for Siri, in Privacy > Location Services?
Yes. This is more of an Apple Maps problem, as when I searched for Chinese buffet, it found some near me, and then a few of them in the UK too! Usually when I search for something, I want it to find it ONLY in my local area. I don't get it at times.
