Had that issue intermittently too. No idea what fixed it. Might have been cycling watch off then on again?

I'd already cycled. I did figure out what the issue was. Hate to admit it... I'd put on a "Healing Shield" and didn't take off the tiny bit that should have come off over the microphone. It didn't help that every picture I looked at showed the microphone being somewhere else.

All sorted now though.

If you manually exit Siri, cover to sleep, or put down your wrist and allow the session to expire (about 10-15 seconds), she'll send it.

If you keep Siri awake, she won't.

The goal is to keep you from having to interact with the watch for actions that are intended. I much appreciate it, as I hated having to hit that button.

It sounds as if yours if having connection issues. Try impairing and repairing?

Already did that. No luck.

Thanks to reading this thread the other day I knew that when I dictated a message to my husband on my watch it would appear to hang and seem that it hadn't sent. It does seem like there should be a Send button but I guess that kind of defeats sending a message without touching your watch. I did forget about the dropping of the wrist and when the screen went dark went to my Iphone to check my iMessages and sure enough it had delivered it already. I like that you are actually given a decent amount of time before it sends.
