High Sierra Beta 5 new firmware upgrade for cMP 5,1

I haven't had time to check up on all the up to date news here on HS Beta 5 but I found this in post #1134 over at the netkas forums.

"10.13 beta 5 added a new MP5,1 firmware version MP51.0083.B00"

Apparently adds APFS suppoert to 5,1 cMP's .

I wonder what else is in that firmware upgrade ?

I haven't installed any of the High Sierra betas yet . .can daring person with a ( spare ) 5,1 cMP check this out ?

interesting developement. I didn't have enough time to scour all the posts re this firmware upgrade but thought it needed to be pointed out

I sincerely hope that this new firmware won't affect any older OS X installations. We shall see but I won't be downloading any betas yet.

High Sierra developement reminds me of waiting in the hospital delivery room ( in a foregign coutry ) as my first child was being delivered by C-section .. nerveracking but fascinating too. Apple really should include cMP 4,1 's on the High Siera "included" list, that would get them a lot of positive feedback.
