same problem

Hi guys, I just got the RocketRaid 4310 and I'm having the same problem. The website won't let me send private messages for some reason. Can someone send me the 20090617 driver? I would greatly appreciate it. :D

Does anyone have that version of the EFI?

I have mailed hpt support .. no response .. i'd greatly appreciate someone sending me the version of the efi that works.. or at least posting where i might get it.

Hey there,

If you folks don't get a response form HPT Support in a few days post back here and I will post up a link to the EFI that I'm using.

I am having the SAME problem. Help. Can someone post the EFI? Thanks.

Me too!

Hey there, I'm in the same boat. Just bought the 4310 and the box still says Mac compatible for booting on it. I'd love a copy of the RR4310-EFI-090122.zip

Thanks!

Anybody out there?

nanofrog? StanD? I work at a school and would love to get my SL server up before school starts. Pleeeease? :)

I don't use Highpoint's cards, so I don't have that file to send you. :(

You could try the firmware for the Areca ARC-1212, as they make those cards for Highpoint, and it's the same architecture. What I don't know, is if it will work for certain (100%). But it may be worth a try at this point, since Highppoint doesn't seem to be inerested in helping you at all.

Just get a copy/make a backup of the existing firmware (if a backup is possible with that card). You may have to get the BIOS version from Highpoint's support site. I think that one is at least available.

If not, I'd demand a refund from Highpoint for failing to provide firmware they claim to offer (might want to copy the webpage for proof before trying this).

Worst case, report them to the BBB and sites like resellerratings.com (could help others). You can also post in misc. forums indicating what's happened, but do be concise, as they may be acceptable with Windows support (the hardware itself is fine).
