That entirely depends on if AMD can get it working well without any stability issues, otherwise Apple won't have any of it.
I would be all over it. Also some good news is AMD has released everything on Mantle to the Khronos group for use in OpenGL. So we could see some massive improvements all over in future OGL versions.
