But the warranty when back in UK? Don't understand what you mean, if I buy in US then it comes with warranty there, just need to confirm that it use international warranty.
That's is a good question. I know Mac/MBP's have international warranty as I purchased a MBP from Korea (South) and brought it with me to the U.S. I had a fan issue and Apple Store genius fixed it for free as it was still under warranty.

AFAIK, only the iPhone are country specific so if purchased in U.S, you have no warranty in UK, vice versa. I don't see on the iPhone apple care that states any global repair coverage.
