This doesn't seem to work on my MacBook Pro running Lion. Has the shortcut changed?
 
For all those weary tread travellers out there...

I am pretty sure I tried all the suggestions on this tread and none of them worked. (if my suggestion is there and I missed it I apologise in advance to those who have little better to do than point out other peoples' oversights).

At any rate, I started to experiment and after being brought to a lot of unexpected places I discovered "Alt" combined with "Page Up" (arrow with two perpendicular lines on the stem to the immediate top right of the numbers pad on some keyboards) did the trick.

It really is amazing that something as basic as a "Home" key should be so elusive.
