Just the ATV4 as the hub. Location services for homekit on the ATV are on "always"

When you go to iCloud settings in atv4 it shows that HomeKit is connected correct? And the iCloud account is the same as your phone account?

Also in iPhone location settings , go to Share my Location and enable it. I’ll try to think of what else I did to make it work

yes, homekit is connected under the icloud settings on the ATV.

iPhone, yes, share my location is enabled.

Have rebooted everything, just strange why the toggle can't be seen on the phone and the pad, which would kind of put the problem back to the atv or the camera. Might reboot the camera and see what happens.

I’m sure two step verification is activated as well in your account. I would reboot everything and wait a bit more. It should come up eventually.

2 factor is on.

I have removed the Omna from Homekit and re-added it.

Even if I create a new automation 'people arrive home' it sees me in the list and the other family members, so i know that bit is ok.

if I create a new automation 'a sensor detects something' , click on the sensor and then NEXT, the 'PEOPLE' toggle shows as OFF.

yay, I got it working

On the main Homekit screen, click the top left hand corner and you need to turn on "Share when I'm home".

As soon as I did this the 'people' toggle came on


No more annoying camera notifications now So happy !
