I just want HomePods that work reliably. they're def one product that got worse over time, not better. My Apple TV has pretty much been replaced by my Vision Pro for content consumption but if they can make one be a solid home hub where my thread devices don't randomly tell me to go f myself....

It's like finding an albino tiger in the jungle: a real Vision Pro user that regularly consumes content on the thing! How is the eye strain on this? I mean: strapping an iPad to your eyeballs has to seriously fatigue your eyes, or is that not a problem?

Think a new TV hardware is coming this week considering that TV+ was just rebranded. As for HomePod mini, there will be some new colors and it will have better audio quality. Hope the colors are bright and not pale.

It looks like Apple will announce all of the Home devices next month, including the Apple TV or whatever they will rename it.

lol next month? Any confirmation on that?

Apple usually only have one announcement day/week per month. There won’t be any further announcements this month. Apple has done November releases in prior years. If not November, then we wait for January.

Still waiting for the announcement of New Models. I get this week isn't over yet but considering the announcements today I guess I will still be waiting. I still remember like 2 years ago they announced a new thing a day for like 4 days. That was fun. I wish they had done that again.

If Apple wanted seamless FaceTime on Apple TV they would have given it a USB-C port and allowed one to plug in a normal webcam. That would be too easy and not profitable for Apple. They want you to buy an iPhone dedicated to FaceTime calling on Apple TV.

I used to have a webcam sitting on our TV back when PCs attached to TVs were the only option for streaming video. We'd use it with Skype, which everyone had and would run on any platform. We'll get there again eventually and it'll be magical!
