Apple today announced that the HomePod mini will be available in three new colors next month, including yellow, orange, and blue.

Apple said the new HomePod mini colors will be available in November alongside the existing White and Space Gray colors, with pricing remaining at $99 in the United States. Apple did not share a specific release date.

The new HomePod mini colors will be available in the United States, Australia, Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.

In addition, Apple said Siri's multi-user voice recognition is expanding to all regions where the HomePod mini is available later this year.

I'm sorely disappointed that none of the rumors addressed this! How could they not include such a major update in any of their reports? Just can't trust them anymore..... 😀

Seriously, it's a nice mini update, and maybe portends Apple paying a bit more attention to the home side of their products.

OO new colors - too bad the software sucks and too bad for big HomePod owners with broken software.

I’d love the orange one, but I already have three. And yes, the software isn’t good. In fact I think it works worse today than it did when I got them a year ago.

For instance, the bring close or tap to transfer doesn’t work. If I am using the Twitter app close to a HomePod my iPhone will vibrate and pop up messages to transfer which is completely undesirable. If however I am using Apple’s Music or Podcast App the only way I can get audio to transfer is to use the AirPlay button in the app or the HomePod App. It is complete garbage.

I also have 3 minis, and 3 originals (2 of which I got for free as gifts, I did not buy 3) and I thought this was just me and my ecosystem. Tap to transfer NEVER works and it is a key feature for staying with Apple's home audio products. It's really shocking that they haven't found a way to improve this.

That being said...the blue color will look great in my dining room which has navy walls, it will fully disappear. Haha

I like that more colors are available. But, where's the Product Red version?

A Product Red option would have been a nice addition, I have a Space Grey model currently but if I expand (in the future) at least a Blue one will complement my iPhone 12 blue.

For saying things are rising in terms of prices across the board (certainly in the UK!) they’ve dropped the price by £10!

Spring 2022...they have to get THESE colors into homes during the Q4 and holidays ...THEN they announce Product RED™

...to get people to want that one as well. Some people want color but have to go with one of the three available BUT they still want red and will buy that too.
