I'm getting the new 2015 Fit, but my only real concern is the Nav App using data on my limited plan. On another forum, some owner with the HondaLink says it uses data a lot, but if I just got the iPad (Mini or Air) with Carrier service, download Navigon app instead, I would eliminate that data usage issue, and of course the in-build GPS navigation system that cost's about $1,500 now days.

Difficult to find any hands on reviews with this new HondaLink system :(

I would pass and wait for Apple's native iOS in the Car experience as their maps are vertex based rather than bitmap, and sip data.

Any navigation app needs to be able to cache maps, period. You don't want to lose map data due to cellular data connectivity issues.

Since the new 2015 Fit will not come out for a couple more months, I'll have time to give this some thought. Right now, I'm leaning towards not getting the Fit hondalink system but use an iPad for any GPS driving I need. Use Navigon app and save some money.

Thank guys for your thoughts ;)
