Some of us (e.g. California) get taxed at the full price of the phone.

$399 + $850*0.09 + $40 (AT&T) = $515.50

Hmm, not sure if there's a CA Recycling Fee for a 5" display. If there is, that's another $10 or so.

which is my point, $399 isn't just the price, its the beginning of what you are about to pay.

Its an absurd amount of money for a phone especially when 32gb of the 64gb won't be needed by most people.

PS: thats the same theory as 16gb is enough not everyone needs 32gbs so you guys argue thats why 16 gb is good, well i am arguing i don't need 64gb i need 32 only so be quiet and stop defending apple.

I don't really think it's an issue with the iPhone 6. The 32GB has always been $299/$750 so at the same price point, you're pretty much just getting an extra 32GB.

However, I am somewhat annoyed that for the iPhone 6 Plus, I have to go up to $399/$850 if I wanted more than 16GB. Doubly so since I'm getting 2 as well as AC+. At over $2,000 with taxes, this is definitely giving me pause.

thats exactly my problem as well.

Except, i need 3 phones. Thats almost $2700 or so. THATS ****ING NUTS.

Do you think we're that stupid? Nobody will want 16GB, so this forces us to shed out more money on extra storage we don't need. It's just money grabbing from Apple. Don't position it like they're doing us a favour.

I'm fine with 16GB.

I have a 32GB Galaxy S4 and I'm barely a 1/4th full (of user data, of course the data Samsung on there pushes my storage usage up more).

Most people I know that have 16GB iPhones don't ever actually reach the full capacity. Most of us don't store locally. For example I don't even use iTunes or local music anymore; my entire music library has moved to Spotify. I don't buy TV shows or Movies from iTunes - I have Netflix for that.

I will say I am surprised that they didn't drop the 16GB and make the standard 32/64/128 for the 6+, but I'm not surprised they didn't for the 6.
