I thought the idea of primitive people and robot dinosaurs was really stupid. Then I played the game and completely changed my mind. The way they explained it through the story made sense and I was actually really moved by it. I loved it. This reminds me that I never played the DLC.

It really is a great game. One of the few games I cared about enough to actually get the Platinum trophy. I'm hoping the sequel will be a launch title for PS5.

I purchased Horizon Zero Dawn on sale at Steam, recently started playing with keyboard/mouse and am really enjoying combat at normal difficulty. Not that far into the main story but it seems to have potential.

Of note, I also recently started Death Stranding, and the play mechanics of this (HZD) far exceeds DS, although DS has some unique visual qualities, it’s just not as fun, UPS man, top heavy, hand carrying supplies, staggering across interesting landscapes trying to avoid hostile supernatural entities and raiders.
