That has not been my experience. I have always found the folks at my local Apple Store to be friendly and more than willing to assist. The best place to buy Apple products is still direct from Apple; on line, or at one of their stores.
Same here, my experience so far with Apple Stores, whether it's directly from the store or online chat or even over the phone were very helpful and very, very and I mean very friendly. I guess it all boils down to who you get.

correct I hope the IUP team sorts my issue out I really don't want to return and rebuy it a pian.
 
correct but would I be able to upgrade in November anyways ?
as long as you make 6 month payments (or was 3?? Not sure but around there) then you are eligible but you'd have to pay the remaining to make it 12 at check out when you upgrade.

Do the store accept returns they told me I would need to return in store and rebuy it
At this point, it really depends on your apple store policy. Some Apple store that are express pick up only may not accept returns. You may want to visit your apple store and see if they do. YMMV
 
Update they will try to fix the issue and my apple store can’t accept the replacement return so in 24-48 hrs I should get a response
 
Nope but they cant sort out the loan or warranty I have to wait to see if they can if not the replacement goes back for a refund
TBH. You should have just kept your original one, but went against the suggestion and decided to attempt to get it replace and this issue happens.
 
Update there investigatign the issue they email Citzen one,apple care and apple online store I should get a response Tuesday

they told me if they can’t solve issue I would need to return replacement and re order

its a mess if the issue couldnt be done on day 1 why offer me a replacement I could of gone to my apple store and swap it.

It looks like you should have just followed their first suggestion. Apple has their own procedures and it’s not a good idea to try and circumvent them. You thought that you would miss preordering on the next iPhone? I have had a few issues with a Mac, PowerBooks, MBP and iPhone so I am aware of the frustrations but have always gone with the first option whether it’s the Apple Store, online support or higher up at the Customer Relations level.

They told me multiple people on apple end it could be done and there wasn’t first option only from here only but since it was just purchase I talked to apple to take a chance to get it swapped out
 
Last update returning it for a refund and rebuying the issue was the anti theft couldn’t be transferred they did the error on there end FYI Getting a third home pod mini free.
