Hot to the touch

Didn't mean to start an argument over this....My Mac Air is not too hot to use...performs very well to my satisfaction....was just wondering why that particular part of the machine is so warm to to the touch!

Errr, not really...

Both the CPU and GPU are more to the middle of the machine. What you have close to the MacSafe is the fan... at least on the above 2010 model that's how it's laid out and as far as I know ( please correct me if I'm wrong ), nor the 2011-2012 models changed the layout.

Anyway, for sure the CPU is not situated at the top-left corner of the machine...
