I am trying to participate in this thread; however, it won't let me ... not sure why ..

I am having similar issues. After update to 26.4 with Rogers Wireless (69.1) my hotspot is not permitting me to live stream video from an app Game Changer.

Game Changer is used for scoring and streaming baseball (and other sports) and I have been using it for 10+ years (video for 5/6+). Normally my set-up is:

iphone 17 - hotspot (rogers) to iphone 15 (no data plan), iphone 15 gets connected to the fence and then "go live" from there. I then usually sit close and and score the game from the main phone (iphone 17). Have been doing this with no issue since Dec/Jan (previous it was iPhone 15 as main phone/cell/hotspot to iphone 13 - I upgraded to the 17 in Dec). Was down in Phoenix and streamed 8+ games with no connection issue (some choppy video due to low service).

ISSUE: went Saturday to set up and go live and it kept saying "Cannot Connect to the Network". I tried multiple times. Then tried the iphone 17 on cellular, it worked fine. Hotspot to iphone 15 worked for all apps/mail/imessage and even Game Changer scoring, but not the go live. I gave up and borrowed another parents hotspot (diff provider and NOT and updated iphone) and it worked fine.
Spent the next 3 days doing ALL of the trouble shooting (delete app/re-install, update carrier settings etc etc). I called Rogers, they did network resets and couldn't find anything ... useless. Called apple, they did diagnostics on both devices and said they would not escalate due to it being a "network" issue ... ignoring the fact that the issue came up immediately AFTER the update. They refused to help in any way. I talked to the app developers and they were unable to replicate the issue and were looking into it and not finding anything .. so stumped also. I came across this Reddit thread:
This thread gave me a workaround ... not sure if it is a forever fix or just temporary. However, I changed my APN setting on my iPhone17 hotspot to mobile.apn (it was data.apn, my husbands ltedata.apn - his hotspot and phone was working totally fine - also NOT updated) and restarted my phone and boom, it started working. I tried a few times and each time, boom. I am set to stream a game today, so will see what happens.

I am frustrated that the ones being paid to tech support, cannot actually find the issues ... as I am sure you all are also!

Maybe this will help someone!
