Apple MCM Update
Got here a little before 7am this morning. I was about 14th in line. I'd say by ticket passout time, maybe 30 total. Wi-fi only's went first. I got a ticket for a black 64GB AT&T. I really just wanted a 32GB, but I figure the $100 is a wash if I don't have to wake up early and come back here again. (Going out of town next week for awhile and wanted it for that.) I won't be opening it until tonight if anyone wants to trade unopened same model for a 32GB and cash difference. I'm guessing no more lines and more stock some time next week.
On the uncontested plus side...Chick-Fil-A had free chicken biscuits this morning. Score!

...I just now returned my Black 32 Gb ATT to the MCM Store. I decided I wanted the 64GB ATT (which is still waiting to be shipped online).
So if 32 ATT is the one you want they have at least one in stock.....
if anybody has a lead on a 64gig wifi preferably black let me know. School has been real crazy so i dont have time to check for availability as much as i would like. Thanks in advance for any help

I just get mine today at fry's, we went there to get some memory for a friend, suddenly we just ask the geeks working there if they have ipads 2, and they ask me what size, and i say OMG, i fill up mi info went to pay.
They were out of white ones, but i could get a WIFI 16GB just like I wanted.
Best Buy and target Sucks BTW. Try other stores.

Was able to return my white 32 GB ATT version to galleria apple store today because of blacklight bleeding, supposed to be called when they have a black one on hold for me...hopefully will be this week.
There were like 50 people waiting in line for them since 4 or 5 am apparently...when i left around 10:30 they still had tickets for verizon versions..

micro center has 32gb white wifis this morning. And verizon black/white 16/32/64, open box verizon black 64 for $746 (reg $829) and open box verizon white 32 for $656 (reg $729)
I appreciate you all's vigor and information sharing. I got mine this afternoon at a Target in north Houston. They had about 5 32gig wifi's in both colors.
It won't clear up. If you only have a little backlight bleed, keep it and wait for an exchange when/if you start hearing about people receiving replacements with no bleeding.

I wonder if all the AT&T's are being shifted to the Galleria. I'd be interested to hear a report from someone in that line. Funny, they had a single Verizon. Nobody wanted the thing.

verizon blacks and whites have been in stock consistently at micro center for about a week, demand is definitely less than supply
The galleria better not have an ATT version, because they owe me one!!
Long story, but basically I returned my white 32 ATT version on Saturday and was supposedly put on a "list" to get a black one as soon as they came in. I was pretty skeptical because I just wrote my name on a piece of paper, but made (2) different people promise I would be on a list. They gave me a refund on a gift card instead of my CC... Well of course when I call Monday and Tuesday I am told there is no such list, and I should just get back in line every morning/keep calling. Also got sent to voicemail on numerous occasions.
Obviously wasnt very happy, so went to store late last night, and talked in person with the manager, who was very nice and again promised I would get one as soon as they arrive. Did get a phone call a little while ago, that no black att came in today. At least he called and gave me an update.
Still am not happy about how both the apple store handled it over the phone and how Apple Care didnt seem to care besides contacting the store to tell them they messed up...
I knew they were trying to help me and allowing me to switch colors was something they didnt have to do, I just didnt appreciate being lied to, and given different answers. I said on numerous occasions i would rather get a new white version if it wasnt possible...
Will see if anything happens rest of this week.
