How active is this site and forums compared to Facebook ?

We are tiny compared to Facebook. Facebook has like 2.9 billion monthly active users. That's like 30-40% of the entire world population.

We get somewhere between 10-20 million unique visitors a month -- not forum participants -- just people who might have visited MacRumors over the course of a month.

Though for Apple-specific content, we are probably more useful than most Facebook groups.
