Trump was just bashing Apple a few weeks ago for their "illegal" DEI practices. I don't think he is buddy-buddy with Cook. Cook's $1m was nothing compared to what riches Trump is amassing on his crypto schemes and insider trading. His tariff madness is going to continue and it is just a matter of what Trump's vig is in August when Apple is trying to get the iPhone 17s into the US for a September launch.

You're making it sound like the US is the biggest, most important market. It's not, and the world would go along fine if the US ceased to exist tomorrow.

European and Asian countries are 10x older and more mature.
Well, to China we are their biggest consumer so we are important to them but for sure we aren’t their only consumer so it would hurt but clearly they aren’t worried because they have no problem calling out the US’ tariffs with their own. But the real kicker is the US is a consumer of their goods and that is mostly unidirectional. So The US needs China more than they need the US.
The US won’t find the cheap labor that they have in China (for good reasons I’d argue, although Florida seems cool with removing child labor laws so maybe I’m wrong). So prices will go up if all iPhones sold in the US are built in the US.
Looking at it from a certain perspective, as much as the US is about human rights buying products from China is actually very much against this value. The US is having to choose between paying for its values or paying for its iPhones. That said, forcing the issue in the reckless way that tariffs are currently being imposed will get neither.

China will be the toughest to bring to the table but it will happen. They need us more than we need them as they export 5 times more to us. In the end, this was the right move for the U.S. as we've been taken advantage of for decades and it's time to have that come to a halt.
Trump should have just focused on tariffs on China instead of going after every country.

Then why are all the countries mad at US ?
US has least tariffs/import duties compared to any country.
Look at trade imbalance you see how much US imports vs exports.
