I hope apple is listening...

2 item need to improve

1) Backspace key should not that close to enter key
2) Should provide arrow keys
3) Should support copy and paste

I have to say, the copy/paste thing is really starting to bother me. It makes basic usage inferior to my BlackBerry, which is very bad! I hope they give us a software update soon - it's been too long.

I found that being an old Blackberry user I would strike each letter at the base of the key. I'd also do this because iphone would enlarge each letter..... but what I found if you strike each key dead centre then your typing improves by a good margin....... you also just have to trust it and let it run......

Well I find it quite easy but my main problem is that i rite my SMS both in French and in English so it's a bit tricky for me with the dictionary

with 1.1.2 you add both French and English dictionaries at the same time so it can predict in both French and English.........

I love the keyboard. Can do multiple fingers with little or no mistakes and I've only had the phone for 2 days.

sometimes i can type really fast with no mistakes but today i sent an email and later when i looked at what id sent i could barely make out what it was.
but i have to say its fantastic, so much better than a "normal" mobile keyboard.

I'm getting better and better with my week old iTouch ... I find it much easier when double-thumbing, though.

I've had it since June 29, and I have loved it ever since. I used to have a Treo 700p and was fluent with the thumb typing, and it didn't take long to match the skill on the iphone. I can now even type on it while driving and still make little if no mistakes.

I hope you hit a tree!

Been using for nearly a month now (bought on UK launch) and my typing with the iPhone's keyboard is significantly faster than I could ever manage with my old phone!

Once I learnt to trust it everything came together. It also seems to have learnt words I regularly use (words in Welsh that it wouldn't have known prior- if u see what I mean).

No problems whatsoever - bought on UK launch day and I can type faster on my iPhone than I can on a computer - weirldy enough! I utterly adore the magnifying glass feature also - marvellously simple and classic apple ingenuity :D

I think its great. I got used to it really fast.

After 5 years of using a Treo thumb keyboard, it took a LONG time to get fully comfortable with the iPhone keyboard. Like, hitting every letter wrong kind of errors.

But after playing numerous games on it, especially those Sudoku puzzles that force finger accuracy on the tiny bubbles, now the keyboard is truly a breeze!
