Well, i don't count, anyway: every mac i had in the last 20 years is still perfect today (excluding internal failures)…

It's sturdy as a frikin rock, the only issue a have is that it gets a wee bit hot and toasting my ballsack.

Oh no, don't worry about that. She hardly knows how to use a computer. Her parents bought her a brand new MBP maxed out for her graduation. The hardest thing she has put that through is Word 2008 and maybe a little tetris. I love it how I am the one who is a die hard technology freak and she gets the MBP and I am stuck with the MB. Hmmmm.... I wonder if I pulled a switcheroo if she would even notice the difference. LOL
