Great, thanks for the feedback everyone. I have just been curious as to how it fares with sunny conditions outside, fingerprints, etc. Thanks again.

These **** threads are so stupid and pointless. ONLY YOU can decide which phone you will want. Whether or not people are "enjoying" their phone or "regret buying it" does not matter. A million people can say that they hate their white iPhone, but that has absolutely nothing to do with you.

-Go to the Store
-Pick which one you think you'll want
-Use it for 13 days
-On the 14th day, decide whether you want to exchange it or not.

Thanks for posting this--now I can make a mental note and remember you're ignorant. This thread isn't like any of the other threads as far as "color threads" go. Next time make sure you think before you post so you don't make yourself look the way you just did. (Hope that last sentence didn't deteriorate your last brain cell).

I got the black on preorder on launch: I was sleepy and in a hurry to get my order through the overloaded servers, and I hadn't thought it through. I like the black a lot, but I wish that I'd purchased the white: I've seen some out in the wild, and they look really nice.

White reminds me of the first iPods out there. They're both nice colors though. The black looks sick when the screen is off and all u see is black.

Had a black 4 and wanted to change it up so didn't feel like I had the same phone in hand. Got a white 4S and absolutely love it. You can almost never see fingerprints and smudges an overall looks very clean. The black always looked dirty after touching it. JMO, get a white one. I don't think you'd regret it.

This is my first white phone. I wasn't sure about making the leap, but I love it!

I had a black 4 but I desperately wanted a white one, so this time around I went with white and LOVE IT. I was sick of looking at the black screen surround after the 4 and 3GS; this is a very nice change of pace.

Is there truth to the statements that the camera on the white iPhones suffer from poorer performance compared to the black iPhones?

I have a white ip4,and love the camera. I would love to see a zenon flash and a 3x zoom on the 5.

Was undecided until I had to tell the counter person what color. Went white and I love it! Reminds me of the old iPod.

I had the original white MacBook and absolutely loved it, when the 4 came out I was so excited for my first white iPhone, sadly we know how that went. I did grab a white 4S on launch though and am just not sure what my feelings are.

The first time I was the white 4's in the Apple store a few months ago I almost broke down and bought one because I thought it looked so smooth and clean. Now I see black 4 / 4's and think they look sharp and classy. I generally prefer white products though so I'm sure it will grown on me.

The fact that it is nearly impossible to see fingerprints on the white parts of the phone is a blessing for people who are OCD.

The white phone looks more like a design-phone and the black one more industrial. I got 10 seconds to choose color (was called up before I had gave it any thought) and went for the black just cause I wanted a phone that doesn't look "special". It's like having a black S-class Mercedes or a white S-class, the white looks "special/designish", while the black looks "industrial".

While trying to type this message out, I've been constantly picking up my iPhone, looking at it in different angles, and seeing how the colour affects your peripheral vision when focusing on the screen (i.e the sensible way to go about this).

Thing is, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it.

I mostly really like the fact that I went with the white version, it's a little more daring and it makes it feel like an upgrade to my iPhone 4. It's different. Apple have done a great job with it. I like that my fingerprints don't show up so easily.

On the other hand, it's not quite got the same understated elegance about it that the black iPhone has. It's showy, it screams for attention. I don't really like the kind of attention it receives in public (people do seem to really take notice of it). I don't like how the glass mounted over the coloured surface shows up shadows. Scratches will show up just as well on this. The white coating reflects the edges of my screen protector

All in all, I like it enough to keep it for the duration of my contract, but I'm going to be shopping around for a case to protect and tone it down a little :p

I have the black i4 (before the white was released) and still to this day wish I had the white.

The black is super sleek and sharp, but the white stands out more, to me.

Went to the store and saw black and white right next to each other... I used to think black looked slick and professional, and now it looks boring to me. White it is! :apple:

I went white for a change from my iPhone 4. I really like how clean it looks and the lack of fingerprints. Only negative is that it is more showy, people keep approaching me about it and wanting to hold it. This never happened with my black 4.
