So, I experience a Safari bug both on my iPhone 6 and my iPad Mini 2.

After installing the 8.2 update from iTunes the Safari became very slow and almost unresponsive. I read a couple of threads here suggesting to just leave it load a webpage and this should fix the problem. I did, but this is only a temporary solution. If I close the Safari app or restart my iPhone/iPad it still gives me the same issue.

I restored both my devices but the problem is still there. Any ideas please?

So far all ok on my iPad Air.

I choose to use Google Chrome due to Safari Re loads.

iPhone 6 plus still at iOS 8.1.2 due to jail break.

My mom's iPhone 5C is on iOS 7.0.4. Should I update to 8.2? Or it's best to keep it on iOS 7?
Thanks

You could do like I did, downgrade to 8.1. There's a topic in this forum about slow wifi, I posted the link in there.

No worries, this is the internet. And, you can't take it with you.

I never worry, I have all kinds of phones for my enjoyment. Always prepared with multiple lines, it's fun to experience all platforms concurrently. Side by side comparisons are especially fun. :)

Well I do things other than phones, for my enjoyment. :D We all have different ways of decompressing. iphone, ipad, laptop is my trifecta.

I'm simply taking a wait and see approach with Apple. I do love their stuff but just very disappointed that they've become this big greedy company. Exactly like what they said they'd never be from day one, before changing their name and values.

From the wonderful customer centric Apple Computer Inc. To Apple Inc. The mass market gadget making giant. They're to be commended for their power and control over the customers and how incredibly brilliant their marketing machine is. Becoming the biggest profit maker of all is quite the accomplishment. :)

I got few screen glitches with the top bar (where the battery info, clock, etc). I also got some issues with syncing at Photos app when I update things on my Mac.

With my iPad Air, it's generally fine. With my iPhone, it's horrible. There are lots and lots of little bugs that add up to, at times, a very frustrating experience.

Not really sure what you are saying on a lot of fronts:
- Becoming a greedy company?
- Changing their values?
- Power and control over their customers?

Okay, if that's what you think. I just like their products, support and corporate thinking. The job of apple is to offer products and services in such a way that it creates value for it's customer and shareholders. Clearly there are other manufactures willing to sell you a device to make a phone call or surf the web if you don't like the way a specific company is going about it.

This seems to be beating the proverbial dead horse again.

Just installed it the other day. I've had blue restarts on my 6 Plus. Is this the 64-bit bug resurrected? I never owned an iPhone 5S so I'm not sure what it exactly looks like.

I can't wait to see how buggy the iPhone is when it has to be in constant contact with the Apple Watch now. They really better get their crap together with iOS 9.

My updated 6plus started doing just the same. I noticed all localization preferences are empty after blue screen of death. Anyway, I found a solution. Just change the language of your iPhone (mine is Italian so I just do >English and then > back to Italian) did it and it works. I had a couple of bsods on 8.0.1 too, that's when I discovered this stuff (it changed from italian to English by itself and started working fine, so I realized it was it)

Coretime.ips crash log

iOS 8.2 keeps generate Coretime.ips.synced crash log. Looks like stack+ backboard error back.

I had my first screen freeze since installing 8.2
I was scrolling down a newspaper webpage when everything froze for approx 10 seconds. Previous versions of iOS8 used to do this regularly and after four days of not seeing it (since putting 8.2 on my 6+), I kinda hoped that it was fixed #

Everything past iOS 6 has been ultra buggy. I have a iP6 and I have scroll stutter and odd UI problems that never existed in iOS 6.

My iP5 on iOS 6.1.2 was flawless, I've been disappointed ever since.

iPhone 5 and iOS 6 was really the ultimate combo. I remember thinking at the time "I'll never need anything more than this! We've finally arrived." Then I saw the shiny new iPhone 6 Plus two years later and had to try it (bad call, should have gone with the 6) I naively traded in my 64GB iPhone 5 on Amazon and have regretted that ever since. I'm really hoping that going down in size to the 4.7" iPhone 6S, which should hopefully have 2GB of RAM, and which should hopefully be running the rumored optimized, bug fixed iOS 9, will be our next ultimate combo. I'm optimistic because my iPad Air 2 runs much better than my 6 Plus.

The downside to iOS is that you can't just keep it on an older version because your apps will break at some point, or you won't be able to install the newer apps. It's cool that Apple gives free updates for several years, but inevitably you have to move to a faster device. I know that's true for much of computing, but it just seems like the cycle is shorter on mobile so it's more apparent.
