If you look up the page, I've linked a decent guide for installing Debian netinstall. If you're only using this as a MC server, then it should be fine. If you want to use the machine for doing anything else, it's going to require a bit of learning. Very useful skill though!

Could I possibly use Ubuntu instead of Debian??
Because I would like Ubuntu more
 
I don't think either is particularly difficult to install. Use Ubuntu by all means if you wish - but it runs like a dog on PPC machines because it's full of bloat. A fresh Debian install dumps you into a command prompt with a few essential services running, and that's about it.

So I was installing Ubuntu and It came up with the error "The system is running in low-graphics mode" and then thats it
