I heard it may damage, would waterproof pouch protect from steams entering into the iPhone?

If humidity and watrer damage are a concern do not bring the device into spaces where it is a risk i.e. shower room pools, spas etc.

If that is not an option I have used a water proof phone protector case., It is essentially a tight fitting zip top like bag that allows some function for touch and keeps the phone free from moisture and water within reason,.

after taking a shower, I noticed when I type, it stopped making the typing clicking sound whenever I type. What should I do? I checked the settings and it was enabled. I think this happened from the steamy shower room.

Verify you haven’t selected a different keyboard. Adjust the volume. Turn off silent mode. Shutdown and reboot your iPhone. So many things to try…
I tried to restart and also adjusted the volume and my phone wasn’t on silent mode either. What should I do ?

Does the speaker work? If you turn vibration on for calls, does the phone vibrate if someone calls you? If yes, it's a software bug. If no, it's your hardware.

If everything else sound-related works, then it's most likely a bug.

Although almost everyone has those really annoying clicky keyboard sounds turned off, I'm sure I read on one of the beta threads that someone else also had the same problem.

I used to get the 'liquid detected' warning whenever I took a hot shower or bath with the door closed. The steam would get into the charging port, and I’d have to leave the phone outside the room for a few hours to dry out.

I found that simply keeping the door or a window open while bathing prevents this entirely. Keeping the room ventilated is the easiest way to minimize humidity and protect the port

iPhone 15 Pro Max is waterproof to a depth of about 6m (20ft). It’s unlikely steam will damage the phone.

Steam isn't water. That's like saying something designed to prevent ice will also prevent water intrusion.

The mesh speaker grilles are several thousand times larger than water vapor.

The speaker is most easily damaged by steam because it is designed to trap air. Once water vapor enters, it condenses and cannot get out.

Do you think a ghost changed your keyboard settings and silent mode while you were taking a shower? Some of these responses are silly.

None of the software stuff will fix hardware. Give it some time and hope the condensed water comes out.

Here's a thought I just thought of, wrap it in a thick washcloth or towel. I personally put it in a Kleenex box and put my towel on top of it or put it in a cabinet drawer and just turn the volume way up to hear over the shower and the exhaust fan.

Buy some small or "sandwich sized" clear "slider" bags. They seal better and more easily than the press to seal type. You can get a box of 80 for $10 in the US. Given they are reusable, 80 could last for years.

Ehh, while you’re correct in a strictly technical sense, what most people refer to as “steam” (that is, the visible cloudiness swirling around a hot shower or rising from a pot of boiling water) is mostly liquid water that has already condensed in cooler air.

Doesn't that muffle the sound too much? You could do that and have a shower Bluetooth speaker which would give good sound.

Put the phone in a bag with something that is a dessicant. Rice works. That can help dry out the internals.

And don't take it with you swimming, steaming, showering, pearl diving, escaping prisons through the sewer pipes, etc..

The water vapor pressure from steam can be extreme. Only the higher end, better quality pouches should be expected to keep steam away from an iPhone, but the better ones will work. Actually using an iPhone in a steam room is IMO wrong on many levels.
