Maybe I am blind but I really can't see it. Starting a new thread and immediately email notifications about replies start coming (while I switched it off at all the previous threads). Where is the general switching off of any email notifications ?

How can I switch off any email notifications from this forum?

Ya specifically these settings are the default ones for email notifications. Just make sure the “and receive email notifications” are checked off
Sorry, that setting only applies going forward.
Go there, scroll to bottom, check of "Select All" and then Disable Email Notification. Should turn them off for the existing ones.
